Canales and Albiol rejoin the squad
Real Madrid chose to train at the Santiago Bernabeu to put the finishing touches on their tactics for tomorrow's 21:00 CET clash with Deportivo. Canales and Albiol rejoined the squad.
Ball work took centre stage. Following stretching exercises supervised by fitness trainer Rui Faria, the players divided into pairs to work on long and short first-touch passes.Jose Mourinho then supervised a practice game on half the pitch designed to work on possession. Diarra, Pepe, Marcelo, Lass, Benzema, Pedro Leon, Albiol, Ozil and Arbeloa wore red bibs; Ramos, Mateos, Carvalho, Gago, Granero, Juan Carlos, Di Maria, Cristiano Ronaldo and Higuain wore white. Canales, Xabi Alonso and Khedira wore blue bibs and acted as replacements on each side. Meanwhile, Casillas, Dudek and Adan trained with goalkeeper coach Silvino Louro.
The team will train again at Real Madrid City on Tuesday at 10:30 CET in a session open to the press.
